Reshmi Banerjee was a visiting scholar at SOAS, University of London, working on the issue of land conflicts in Burma/Myanmar and is currently an Academic Visitor at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford. She was also a Visiting Professor at the Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research in Jamia University, New Delhi, India. Reshmi is a political scientist specialising in food security and agricultural policies. She graduated in political science from Lady Sriram College, Delhi University, India, and has a PhD in the subject from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Her interest in research earned her a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of International Relations, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, where she worked on the non-farm sector in India and China along with researching political and cultural diplomacy in Asean-China relations. She was also a researcher in the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Jakarta where she worked on the impact of climate changes in Indonesia.
